TNI Facilitates LPDP Scholarship Orientation, Deputy Chair of Commission I: Realising Human Resources with a National Outlook

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The leadership of Commission I of the DPR RI appreciates the TNI’s initiative in providing orientation for LPDP scholarship recipients. According to him, the TNI plays an important role in realising human resources with a national outlook and strengthening national resilience through the development of superior Indonesian human capital. “This shows the TNI’s commitment to supporting the development of Indonesian human resources, especially the younger generation who will become future leaders,” said Deputy Chair of Commission I of the DPR RI, Dave Akbarsyah Fikarno Laksono, to Kompas.com on Monday (4/5/2026). Thus, the scholarship recipients will not only excel intellectually but also possess strong character, integrity, and a spirit of dedication to the nation. “We are optimistic that the collaboration between the TNI, LPDP, and educational institutions will produce a successor generation that is globally competitive while remaining rooted in national values,” he stated. This involvement is manifested through the support of the Air Force in facilitating the Departure Preparation Programme (PK) held by LPDP at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, Jakarta, from Monday (4/5/2026) to Saturday (9/5/2026). “Regarding this information, it is true that the Air Force is facilitating the implementation of the Departure Preparation Programme (PK) organised by LPDP at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base,” said the Head of Air Force Service, First Marshal I Nyoman Suadnyana, to Kompas.com on Monday (4/5/2026). The programme is attended by prospective and current LPDP scholarship recipients at the master’s (S2) and doctoral (S3) levels, both for studies in Indonesia and abroad.
