Three KoinWorks Executives Detained over Alleged Corruption in Rp 600 Billion Credit Distribution
JAKARTA - The CEO of PT Lunaria Annua Teknologi (LAT), Jonathan Bryan, has been detained by the Jakarta High Public Prosecutor’s Office after being named a suspect in an alleged criminal act of corruption related to the distribution of funds by a state-owned bank through KoinWorks.
He was detained along with the Commissioner of PT LAT, Benedicto Haryono, and the Operations Director of PT LAT, Bernard Adrianto Arifin, on Wednesday night (6/5/2026).
The Head of the Legal Information Section of the Jakarta High Prosecutor’s Office, Dapot Dariarma, stated that the three individuals collaborated in distributing funds to customers with improper analysis and manipulation of collateral.
Investigators have also seized several pieces of evidence to further examine the involvement of the bank and customers.
Next, investigators will examine a number of witnesses and experts, including suspects, to trace the flow of funds, as well as seize assets for state financial recovery.
During the investigation and prosecution, the three are detained in Cipinang Prison and Salemba Prison for the next 20 days.
The three are charged under Article 603 or Article 604 in conjunction with Article 20 letter c and Article 126 Paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 18 Paragraph (1) of Law No. 31 of 1999 as amended by Law No. 20 of 2001 on the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption (PTPK).
They face a maximum prison sentence of 20 years and a maximum fine of Rp 2 billion.
