Thomas Cook, BA offer prizes

JAKARTA (JP): Thomas Cook and British Airways have joined to offer travelers cheque users glamorous prizes in an Asia-wide grand draw. The prizes include business class return flights to London and what the sponsors call "VIP" treatment in the British capital as well as four return tickets to various cities in Asia.

Thomas Cook's country manager for Indonesia, Adi Dharmasetya, said yesterday "we have attempted to make prizes as exciting as possible by offering the winners a choice of several `ala carte' attractions."

He said that anyone buying over US$500 or its equivalent in Thomas Cook MasterCard Travelers Cheques at over 100 local at branches between now and Aug. 31, will be entitled to enter the grand draw which offers four grand prizes and four first prizes.

Thomas Cook has been serving travelers for 153 years with a network of 2,000 wholly-owned, franchised and representative offices in 120 countries and serves some 20 million customers a year. (icn)
