Jakarta, VIVA – The journey of the book ‘Rasa Bhayangkara Nusantara’ continues to leave an important mark across the world. After appearing in London, introduced at the World Economic Forum in Davos, reaching Washington to Jeddah, the book is now officially present at the Embassy of Japan for Indonesia.

Kehadiran buku Taste of Nusantara: 80 Bhayangkara Menus for Indonesia’s Free Nutritious Meals Programme in the environment of the Embassy of Japan becomes a marker that Indonesian cultural diplomacy is expanding its reach in East Asia.

The book is brought directly by Vice Chief of Police, Komjen Dedi Prasetyo, in the context of the Breaking Fast with Ikatan Sakura Indonesia (ISI) and the Charge d’Affaires ad interim at the Embassy of Japan in Jakarta, on Wednesday 4 March 2016.

This momentum is part of strengthening Indonesia–Japan bilateral relations, particularly in police reform cooperation through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), which since the reform era has supported capacity-building, professionalism, and the strengthening of community-based policing within the Indonesian National Police.

The Global Footprint Expands

The journey of Rasa Bhayangkara Nusantara reflects Indonesia’s consistency in delivering policy narratives through cultural approaches.

In London, the book was handed to the Indonesian Ambassador to the United Kingdom as a symbol of strengthening cultural diplomacy in Europe.

In Davos, the book appeared at the World Economic Forum, introducing Indonesia’s unique approach that blends strategic policy, culture, and social programmes into a single communicative narrative.

In Washington, the book was part of a diplomatic sequence during President Prabowo Subianto’s visit to the United States.

In Jeddah, the book was handed to a representative of the Republic of Indonesia to strengthen Indonesian diplomacy in the Middle East.

And now, at the Embassy of Japan, the book officially becomes part of Indonesia’s diplomacy network in East Asia.

Each stop is not merely a ceremony, but a broadening of Indonesia’s message to the international community that human resource development, food security, and the strengthening of cultural identity can progress in tandem.

The book is co-authored by Vice Chief of Police Komjen Dedi Prasetyo and Dirgayuza Setiawan, Special Assistant to the President for Communications and Policy Analysis.
