PURWAKARTA, West Java: About 400 workers of PT Yusung Mayer
Tekstil, a textile company, believe they could lose their jobs
after management told them not to turn up for work until further
notice.

"We are confused because they've not given an clear
explanation," one of the workers told Antara.

The workers affected were those in the spinning and finishing
units of the factory. Some 150 workers in the factory have
continued to work, according to Antara. (rms)
