Textile firm pays dividends

JAKARTA (JP): PT Ever Shine Tex, a textile company, reported
here yesterday that its shareholders have approved the
distribution of 57 percent of the company's 1994 net profit in
the forms of cash dividends worth Rp 100 per share.

Erlien Lindawati Surianto, a company director, said that the
company's net profit increased by 21 percent last year to Rp 22.3
billion (US$10.02 million) from Rp 18.5 billion in 1993.

She added that its sale revenues increased by 28 percent to Rp
136 billion last year from Rp 106.2 billion in 1993, while the
company's total assets grew by 40 percent to Rp 214 billion as of
the end of last year.

She said the company's pre-tax profit in the first quarter of
1995 reached Rp 6.83 billion, up by 10.3 percent from Rp 6.19
billion in the same period of last year.

The company acquired PT Indo Yongtex Jaya, a textile and
garment company, last October.(32)
