Terrible parking fee

When I attended the Gaikindo Auto Expo 2000 at the Senayan
Convention Hall recently, I had to pay Rp 1000 to park my
motorbike, twice the amount fixed by the government. The fee was
exorbitant and no receipt was issued to me by the man who wasn't
wearing a uniform.

I'm writing this letter to alert the Jakarta Metropolitan
administration to take measures to straighten out the illegal
collection of parking fees by unauthorized persons. Please, do
not let us, the economically weak people be the victims of people
who obviously are violating the law as well as stealing the
government's money.
