Telephone repairs in E. Jakarta

JAKARTA (JP): The state telecommunications company PT Telkom's
East Jakarta office announced yesterday that repairs being done
at its telephone exchange in Rawamangun is affecting the
operation of 300 telephones in the area.

I Nyoman Punia, head of the office, said the phone lines being
affected are those with the digits of 470xxxx, 471xxxx, 472xxxx,
488xxxx and 489xxxx.

The locations affected by the repair works are Jl. Cipinang
Baru Raya, Jl. Bumi Putera, Jl. Bajubang and Kenali and Jl.
Persahabatan Timur I, II and III, Nyoman said, adding that the
work will last until March 22. (hhr)
