TASPEN urges retirees to be vigilant against fraud during year-end bonus disbursement
Jakarta — PT TASPEN (Persero) has urged retirees from the civil service apparatus (ASN) and state officials to increase vigilance against various fraud schemes impersonating the company during the 2026 Tunjangan Hari Raya (year-end bonus, or THR) disbursement process, which commenced on 5 March.
In a statement on Monday, Corporate Secretary of PT TASPEN, Henra, confirmed that THR disbursements are processed automatically to each participant’s bank account without requiring any additional procedures or service fees.
“We confirm that TASPEN never charges service fees or requests additional personal data for THR disbursement through unofficial channels throughout our service delivery. All of our services are provided free of charge,” stated Henra.
He also encouraged participants to safeguard their personal data and refrain from sharing important information with parties whose authenticity cannot be verified.
As the disbursement process unfolds, the company has reminded participants to be wary of various fraud schemes that commonly emerge during fund release periods, such as requests for personal data, transmission of suspicious links, and demands for service fees made under TASPEN’s name.
To prevent such incidents, TASPEN has advised participants to apply the principle of “Hold, Verify, and Report”. Participants are urged not to immediately trust messages or letters claiming to be from the company, to verify information authenticity through TASPEN’s official channels or call centre 1500919, and to report any indication of fraud to the relevant authorities or official complaint services.
This measure forms part of TASPEN’s commitment to safeguarding participant security and comfort, whilst ensuring that every pensioner’s entitlements, including THR disbursement, are received in a timely and accountable manner.
