Tanjung Priok Customs recorded various service activities for companies holding the Mitra Utama Kepabeanan (MITA) status throughout April 2026. These services included consultations, technical assistance, and the utilisation of digital systems designed to support the smooth execution of customs and logistics processes.

MITA is a status granted to companies demonstrating high levels of customs compliance. Under this status, companies receive several service facilities, such as accelerated document processing, reduced inspection frequency, and digital support for the submission of customs data.

Throughout April 2026, consultation services provided via the MITA Client Coordinator (CC) reached 703 online sessions. Additionally, 34 face-to-face consultations were conducted in the MITA/AEO Lounge.

The use of digital systems was also evident through the processing of softcopy Certificates of Origin (COO) submitted by MITA companies via the SLIM system. During the same period, the number of processed documents reached 1,402.

On the operational side, Tanjung Priok Customs also verified 357 ‘part of’ notification documents. All applications have been integrated into the CEISA TPS Online application to support administrative and service processes.

These streamlined services are considered to have a significant impact on corporate operational activities. During an audience with the MITA/AEO Team at the Tanjung Priok Customs Office, Heryanto, General Manager of PT Sharp Electronics Indonesia, expressed his appreciation for the services provided.

“The assistance from Tanjung Priok Customs and the support of the SLIM 3.0 digital system greatly simplifies our business processes. I highly appreciate the rapid and around-the-clock response from the MITA service officers,” he stated.

According to Heryanto, proactive communication helps companies maintain operational continuity, even when facing vessel delivery delays caused by global geopolitical dynamics.

Meanwhile, Niko Budhi Darma, Head of the Compliance Guidance and Information Services Division at Tanjung Priok Customs, emphasised that the office continues to welcome feedback from service users.

“Various aspirations will serve as the basis for continuous evaluation. A strengthening synergy between Tanjung Priok Customs and business actors is expected to continue supporting and enhancing national industrial competitiveness,” he added.
