Tangerang unfit for Adipura Award

TANGERANG (JP) : Residents here said they were not proud of the Adipura Award that was recently accepted by the local administration in national recognition of the area as one of the cleanest.

Piles of debris from road repairs fill the roads. One of the main roads, Jl. Raya Pasar Kemis, is full of large pot holes. And smelly trash is strewn along the road.

"I have no idea how Tangerang was able to win the award. What is the criteria?" one resident said.

Sewers are also spilling over into the roads. (25/18)
