Tangerang City Holds Risk-Based Business Standardisation Training for Culinary Enterprises
BATU CEPER — The Tangerang City Tourism and Culture Agency (Disbudpar) held a training session on risk-based business standardisation under the OSS RBA licensing system at the Batu Ceper Sub-district Hall on Tuesday, 24 June 2025.
The event targeted micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) operators as well as restaurant, café and eatery service providers who already hold a Business Identification Number (NIB) through the risk-based licensing system (OSS RBA).
Ahmad Yani, Head of the Tourism Business Services Supervision and Development Team, said the initiative formed part of ongoing guidance for culinary business operators who have already obtained their permits.
"The aim is to ensure they are not only legally compliant in administrative terms, but also meet proper business standards," he said.
According to Ahmad, the training also sought to help business operators compete effectively and support tourists visiting Tangerang City.
"This training provides an understanding so that service providers are aware of the risks involved in running a business. There are four risk categories: low and medium-low risks fall under the responsibility of the city or regency government, medium-high risks are under provincial authority, and high risks are the domain of the relevant ministry," he added.
Dozens of business operators enthusiastically participated in the training, which covered mandatory minimum standards ranging from hygiene and customer service to business management and legal compliance documentation.
The training is expected to foster a healthy culinary business climate and support tourism potential in Tangerang City. Disbudpar also committed to monitoring and assisting business operators to ensure the standards provided are properly implemented.
