Tabanan Regency to Repair 8 Kilometres of Roads This Year with Rp 26.35 Billion Budget
The Tabanan Regency Government is continuing road infrastructure improvements this year. The targeted roads total 8.60 kilometres (km) with a budget of Rp 26.35 billion.
Acting Head of the Public Works and Public Housing Department (Dinas PUPR) of Tabanan, I Gede Partana, explained that the road repair budget is sourced from Special Financial Assistance (BKK) from Badung, BKK from Denpasar, and the Tabanan Regional Budget (APBD). Partana stated that the project also includes drainage construction.
“The handling will focus on several priority routes, covering road reconstruction, drainage construction, and routine maintenance to support tourism access and the community’s economy,” said Partana when contacted on Wednesday (25/3/2026).
Partana detailed that this year’s road handling in Tabanan includes reconstruction of the Simpang Beraban-Munggu-Pantai Nyanyi route spanning 1.70 km and drainage construction. Then, reconstruction of the Simpang Tanguntiti-Pantai Beraban route (2.50 km), Simpang Gadungan-Gunung Salak (2.10 km).
There is also reconstruction of the Jalan Bolangan-Dadia route spanning 1 km. Next, access to RPH Gubug spanning 0.50 km, as well as routine maintenance of roads in Banjar Dukuh, Tiying Gading Village, spanning 0.80 km.
According to Partana, although there is support from BKK Badung and Denpasar, the road repair budgeting remains within the structure of the Tabanan APBD. “This is done to facilitate management and supervision of field implementation,” he added.
Based on data from the Tabanan Public Works, Spatial Planning, and Housing Department (Dinas PUPRPKP) until the end of December 2025, the total length of regency roads in Tabanan is recorded at 871.998 km. Of that figure, roads in good condition total 790.520 km or 90.66%.

“For more valid road condition data for 2026, it is currently in the process of being surveyed by consultants. The results will later serve as the basis for determining subsequent handling priorities,” he concluded.
