Swiss keen on Balinese dances

DENPASAR, Bali: The Swiss government has asked the provincial
government to send a dancing troupe to Switzerland to perform for
three days in April.

The invitation was conveyed by the visiting Swiss Minister of
Education Peter Pscheid when he met with governor Ida Bagus Oka
on Tuesday.

Oka said like many other European countries, Switzerland was
currently "crazy" for traditional arts and that he would consider
the request.

He and Pscheid also discussed Bali's plan to take part in an
industrial expo in Bonn from April 2 through 8, Antara reported.
