Bank Indonesia has disbursed funds worth Rp427.9 trillion through the macroprudential liquidity policy mechanism, or KLM, in the first quarter of 2025. Bank Indonesia Governor Perry Warjiyo stated that the value of the KLM disbursed has been absorbed by banks through allocations for accelerating loans worth Rp358 trillion and accelerating the reduction of loan interest rates or credit worth Rp69.9 trillion. “The KLM incentives in the first quarter amounted to Rp427.9 trillion,” said Perry during the press conference on the results of the BI Board of Governors meeting on Wednesday (22/4/2026). Of the total value of incentives already disbursed, Perry said the largest absorption was by the group of state-owned banks worth Rp224 trillion. Then, National Private General Banks or BUSN worth Rp166.6 trillion, Regional Development Banks or BPD worth Rp29.6 trillion, and Foreign Bank Branches (KCBA) worth Rp7.8 trillion. “Sectorally, the KLM is channelled to the agriculture, industry, downstreaming, services, real estate, MSMEs, cooperatives, inclusion, green, and sustainable sectors,” Perry explained. “These sectors support the implementation of the government’s Asta Cita programme,” he emphasised.
