Celebrating its 29th anniversary, Super Indo is inviting customers and employees to transform simple activities into social action. Through the ‘Healthy Walk with Happy Purpose’ programme, 2,900 participants are challenged to achieve 29,000 steps per person, which will be linked to the provision of donation packages for those in need.

The programme targets 2,900 donation packages to be distributed across the 29 cities where Super Indo operates. The concept is designed to be simple: participants merely need to stay active and record the number of steps they complete.

Donny Ardianta Passa, Vice President of Stores & Supply Chain at Super Indo, stated that the activity was designed so that daily physical activity can simultaneously provide social benefits. “Walking for good. Their steps are not only healthy but also serve as a social contribution,” said Donny during an event in Jakarta on Wednesday (9/9/2026).

Participants who successfully complete the mission will also receive appreciation in the form of a shopping e-voucher worth Rp 50,000, which can be used at Super Indo.

The 29 target cities for the programme are spread from Sumatra to East Java. The regions include Palembang, Lampung, Jabodetabek, Bandung Raya, Cirebon, several cities in Central Java and DIY, as well as Kediri, Madiun, Mojokerto, Sidoarjo, Surabaya, Gresik, Probolinggo, Jember, and Malang.

Super Indo has also partnered with several business partners to support the fulfilment of the donation packages. This collaboration involves companies from various categories of daily necessity products.

For the distribution of aid, Super Indo is working with Rumah Zakat and Dompet Dhuafa. Both organisations serve as partners to ensure that the donation packages reach the communities in need.

Yuvlinda Susanta, General Manager of Corporate Affairs & Strategic Event Management at Super Indo, stated that collaboration is necessary so that the activity does not end merely as a physical activity campaign. “When various parties move towards the same goal, every step can create a greater impact,” said Yuvlinda.

According to her, the programme carries the message that social contribution does not always have to start with something large. Simple activities performed together can be developed into a movement that benefits society.

“This programme is not just about how far we walk or how many steps we achieve. More than that, it is about how every step can lead us towards a healthier life, happiness that can be shared, and hope for those in need,” she added.
