Sukamto ups Amcol stake

SINGAPORE (Reuter): Indonesian-born Singapore businessman
Sukamto Sia said yesterday he had bought another 1.5 million
shares in Amcol Holdings, raising his stake to 11.93 percent.

In a declaration to Amcol, Sukamto said he bought the shares
through his investment company Beswil Investment & Trading Pte
Ltd at Singapore S$3.64 per share.

Sukamto is Amcol's second largest shareholder, after
Indonesian Henry Pribadi who holds a 17.9 percent stake.

Amcol last month announced a one-for-two rights issue of up to
179.08 million shares at S$2.05 each.

At 05:14 GMT yesterday, Amcol was up six cents to S$3.74.
