Kasanga Festival 2026 will be held for three days, from Friday 6 March to Sunday 8 March 2026. With the concept of a parade around Puputan Badung I Gusti Ngurah Made Agung Square, several streets will be closed and traffic diverted.

There will be road closures, so there will certainly be traffic diversions, said Kasanga Festival 2026 committee chair Yogi Pramana at a press conference at Graha Yowana Suci on Wednesday 4 March 2026.

In collaboration with the Denpasar City Transportation Service (Dishub) and local police, the committee will close altogether several streets, namely Jalan Udayana, Jalan Sugianyar, Jalan Bunderan Veteran, Jalan Gajah Mada, and Jalan Surapati.

Kasanga Festival 2026 will commence with the collection of ogoh-ogoh on Friday early morning (6 March 2026) until 14:00 WITA. The ogoh-ogoh parking area is around in front of Jaya Sabha and Jalan Kaliasem.

At 15:00 WITA, the judging panel will carry out a re-evaluation. Next, invited guests will enter the main area at 16:00 WITA. The parade is scheduled to start at 17:00 WITA.

The parade route starts in front of Jaya Sabha and ends at the Bank BRI area on Jalan Udayana. The committee will provide barrier rails for spectators along the parade route and urges the public not to cluster at a single point, especially in the Catur Muka area.

“There is no need for us to jostle to watch in Catur Muka, because along the street from Jaya Sabha around Catur Muka towards Jalan Udayana, all participants continue to perform. So spectators can have more space to enjoy the performances of the participants who progressed in the Kasanga Festival,” Pramana said.

Further information on traffic arrangements will be announced via the official Kasanga Festival social media. “Perhaps the traffic arrangements will be completed today,” Pramana said.
