I am concerned as well as annoyed whenever using Jl. Gajah Mada, particularly near the shopping area under the Glodok flyover. The VCD vendors take up most of Jl. Pinangsia Raya for their businesses and simply ignore the public interests. Furthermore, the trading activities obstruct traffic.

My concern has been made even greater because the vendors dare to include pornographic VCDs among their merchandise.

Some other areas like Senen shopping center and Jl. Jatinegara Timur are very dirty and untidy as a result of business activities being carried out by thoughtless vendors.

I feel as if I am living in a city with no regulations, so that people can do whatever they wish.

So what are the city administrators, whose salaries are paid by the people, doing?
