Storm-hit billboard kills one

JAKARTA (JP): A billboard belonging to the Ramayana department
store on Jl. Bekasi Timur, East Jakarta, was blown down yesterday
by a strong wind, killing one person and injuring six others, a
city administration official said.

The victim -- identified as 17-year old Bahmudi and the six
injured were taken to the Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital,
Eman Mochtar, a staff of the City Public Order Office, said.

The 120 by 30-meter billboard in the store's parking lot also
damaged five cars and a motorcycle, he said. (ste)
