Starting Tomorrow, Manggarai Transjakarta Bus Stop to Close Temporarily

PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) has announced that it will temporarily close the Manggarai bus stop starting Wednesday (6/5/2026) at 05:00 WIB. The closure is due to the construction of Jakarta LRT Phase 1B in the area.

Transjakarta’s Head of Public Relations and CSR Department, Ayu Wardhani, stated that the closure is temporary. Although the Manggarai bus stop will be closed, temporary stops will be provided so that passengers can still access Transjakarta services in the area.

“This adjustment is part of Transjakarta’s support for the development of integrated public transportation. We ensure that customers can still access services through the temporary stops that have been prepared,” she said in a statement on Tuesday (5/5/2026).

Ayu explained that there will be two temporary stops in Manggarai located along the roadside, namely Manggarai Temporary Stop 1 and 2. These two temporary stops are provided to maintain service continuity.

According to her, Transjakarta will ensure that operations run normally. However, adjustments will be made to the boarding and alighting points for customers around the Manggarai area.

“Transjakarta services can still be used through the temporary stops along the roadside for route corridor 4 Pulo Gadung-Galunggung, 4D Pulo Gadung-Kuningan, 6M Stasiun Manggarai-Blok M, and B25 Bekasi-Dukuh Atas, so that public mobility remains maintained during the adjustment period,” said Ayu.

She added that Transjakarta has also deployed field officers to assist customers during the adjustment period. Thus, passengers will not be confused in accessing Transjakarta services in Manggarai.
