Stalls demolished

Stalls demolished

From Media Indonesia

On April 25, 1995, the local government, regional military
command and the district Police demolished the dimly illuminated
stalls/bars situated in Parung, West Java. The stalls were
apparently used as places of entertainment and busily frequented
every night.

However, the night after the demolition the stalls reopened
and received customers as usual.

The residents in the area hoped the government would handle
the matter seriously because they feel very disturbed with the
existence of such stalls.
