“As of 26 March at 24:00 WIB, the progress of annual PPh return filings stands at 9,131,427 returns,” stated Inge Diana Rismawanti, Director of Education, Services, and Public Relations at DJP, in a written statement received in Jakarta on Friday.
For the January–December 2025 fiscal year reports, the breakdown of annual SPT filings comes from 8,196,513 individual employee taxpayers, 924,443 individual non-employee taxpayers, 190,691 corporate taxpayers in rupiah, and 138 corporate taxpayers in US dollars.
Meanwhile, for SPT with different fiscal years reported starting from 1 August 2025, the filings come from 1,621 corporate taxpayers in rupiah and 21 corporate taxpayers in US dollars.
According to Inge, taxpayers who have activated Coretax accounts consist of 15,913,271 individual taxpayers, 959,703 corporate taxpayers, 90,442 government agency taxpayers, and 227 Electronic System-Based Trading (PMSE) taxpayers.
For the record, Finance Minister of the Republic of Indonesia Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa has stated that the deadline for individual taxpayer annual SPT reporting will be extended until 30 April 2026 from the original 31 March 2026.
Kemenkeu will soon issue official regulations through a Circular Letter (SE) as the basis for this policy.
To file annual SPT, taxpayers can activate Coretax accounts independently by following the tutorials and steps available through DJP’s official social media accounts.
DJP also provides the Coretax Form for individual taxpayers with a Nil annual SPT status.
Taxpayers who have not yet filed their annual SPT are urged to activate their Coretax accounts immediately and submit their returns on time.
Taxpayers who file their annual SPT late will be subject to administrative sanctions in the form of fines, namely Rp100,000 for individual taxpayers and Rp1 million for corporate taxpayers.
