JAKARTA — Indonesia’s sportbike market entered March 2026 with several noteworthy updates, ranging from new model launches to price adjustments in the premium segment.

The most eye-catching new arrival came from QJMotor through the SRK250RA AMT, which introduced automated manual transmission technology to the 250cc sport class. The QJMotor SRK250RA AMT became Indonesia’s first 250cc fairing sportbike equipped with Automated Manual Transmission (AMT), a system that enables automatic gear shifting without a clutch lever.

In terms of specifications, the SRK250RA AMT is powered by a liquid-cooled dual-cylinder 249cc engine with the high-revving characteristics typical of sportbikes. Key selling points include upside-down suspension, front and rear disc brakes with ABS, a digital instrument cluster, and a fairing design with winglets, priced at Rp74.99 million.

Beyond the new entrant, Kawasaki also surprised the market with a price adjustment for the Ninja ZX-6R in March 2026. The mid-range supersport is now priced at Rp309 million, a reduction of Rp16 million from its previous price of Rp325 million.

Yamaha positioned the Vixion 150 at Rp30.75 million and the MT-15 at Rp40.21 million, whilst Suzuki’s GSX-R150 is available from Rp35.8 million to Rp39.1 million for the ABS variant.

The 150–250cc fairing sport segment remains the most active market segment, with the Honda CBR150R starting at Rp39.02 million and the top-tier CBR250RR reaching Rp83.57 million.

The Yamaha YZF-R25 ABS is marketed at Rp75.25 million, whilst the Kawasaki Ninja 250 starts at Rp70.2 million and the ZX-25RR reaches Rp136.6 million.

In the mid-range to premium classes, options have become increasingly diverse, with the Yamaha MT-25 priced at Rp65.45 million, the Kawasaki Z900 at Rp225 million, and flagship models such as the Honda CBR1000RR-R reaching Rp828.96 million.

The arrival of new brands such as CFMoto and QJMotor has also expanded the price range for sportbikes, now spanning from approximately Rp30 million to over Rp1 billion.
