S'pore rowing for most golds in SEAG

JAKARTA (JP): Singapore is confident of winning most of the
gold medals in rowing at the 19th SEA Games here in October.

"Although we know that we are far below Indonesia, we are
optimistic that we can perform well in the coming Games by
capturing all the golds in rowing events," Singapore Rowing
Federation chairman Nicholas Ee said Saturday in Jatiluhur, West
Java.

The Singapore rowing team is training intensively at the
Jatiluhur dam in the hope of gaining its best ever results at SEA
