South Sulawesi Police, Riau Police, and North Kalimantan Police Receive Top IKPA Awards
The awards were presented as part of the Joint Technical Coordination Meeting of Four Central Polri Functions for 2026 at Rupatama Police Headquarters, Jakarta, on Wednesday (29/4/2026). In the large budget category, the best IKPA award was won by the South Sulawesi Regional Police. The medium budget category went to the Riau Regional Police, while the small budget category was secured by the North Kalimantan Regional Police.
In his address, the Deputy Chief of Police stressed that good financial governance is an essential foundation for supporting organisational success, including the implementation of police duties in the field.
“No organisation, no matter how great, can succeed without budget support and proper management of budget usage,” said Komjen Dedi Prasetyo.
According to him, the achievements of the award recipients demonstrate the commitment of regional police units to managing state budgets transparently and responsibly. These accomplishments are expected to serve as examples for other work units within Polri.
The Deputy Chief of Police also highlighted the importance of improving financial management quality across all ranks to meet future organisational challenges. He stated that the professionalism of financial function personnel must be continuously strengthened in line with increasing public accountability demands.
“Polri’s IKPA score must continue to rise. We must ensure truly accountable, transparent, and professional financial governance,” he said.
In addition to the IKPA awards, Polri presented other recognitions based on the 2025 Polri Research and Development Centre survey results. The Bengkulu Regional Police received the best public satisfaction award, while the Bali Regional Police won the award for internalising Polri’s culture of integrity, honesty, and honour.
The presentation of these awards forms part of Polri’s efforts to promote a healthy competitive culture, enhance performance, and strengthen bureaucratic reform across all work units. Through this coordination meeting, Polri reaffirms its commitment to continuously improving public service quality and modern, trustworthy organisational governance.
