South Kalimantan Tourism Office Drives Investment Climate Through Business Licensing Training
BARITO KUALA — The South Kalimantan Provincial Tourism Office (Dispar) is making a concerted effort to boost the investment climate in the tourism sector. A total of 40 participants, comprising 35 tourism business operators and 5 representatives from the Barito Kuala Regency Tourism, Youth and Sports Office, enthusiastically attended a Technical Guidance session on Risk-Based Business Licensing Registration Consultation Services for the Tourism Sector. The event was held in Barito Kuala Regency on Wednesday (11/6/2025).
Acting Head of the South Kalimantan Tourism Office, Tanwiriah, stated that the technical guidance was designed to provide ease and certainty for business operators in obtaining permits. "This activity represents the South Kalimantan Tourism Office's commitment to strengthening the capacity of licensing service providers, both in terms of regulatory understanding, use of the Online Single Submission (OSS) system, and services to business operators in the regions," Tanwiriah explained.
The South Kalimantan Tourism Office is actively utilising the OSS system as a vital instrument for creating an investment climate that is easier, faster and more transparent. Through this consultation service, tourism business operators can obtain clear and accurate information regarding the business licensing process, as well as receive assistance and guidance in completing and submitting applications.
The aspiration is that this service will boost investment in South Kalimantan's tourism sector whilst simultaneously improving the quality of public services.
