South Jakarta Nakertransgi District Office Trains Pasar Minggu Residents in Making Various Cakes
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The South Jakarta District Office for Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy (Nakertransgi) has provided Independent Work Training for Pasar Minggu residents through the creation of various cakes, held at the Kemuning RPTRA. “We hope that after attending the training, participants can start their own businesses and even absorb new workers in their environment,” said the Head of the Training, Placement, Productivity, and Transmigration Section (P3T) of the South Jakarta Nakertransgi District Office, Erning Kumaladewi, in Jakarta on Wednesday. Erning explained that the training lasts for five working days, from 10 to 16 April 2026, involving 50 participants from five sub-districts. According to her, this training aims to encourage participants to become independent entrepreneurs with skills in various cakes. At the end of the training, participants will receive free work tools as a form of support to start their businesses. “This assistance is expected to be utilised optimally to support the participants’ business activities,” she said. One resident of Cikoko Ward, Pancoran Sub-district, Fajar Rafitansyah, stated that the training is very beneficial for improving skills in the culinary field. “There are many things that I previously did not know, now I know through the learning process over these five days,” said Fajar. Fajar explained that he received various materials from the instructors, ranging from recipes to cake and bread making techniques with precise measurements, such as cassava bolen and tok cake or ku cake. “It is very enjoyable to attend this training. I can also expand my social circle with other training participants in the culinary field,” he said. He hopes that the knowledge gained can be applied to develop his business to progress and grow, eventually recruiting workers. “I already have a culinary business in duck rice. In the future, I want to combine it with cake products that I have learned in this training,” he said.
