SOE Minister Appoints Todotua Pasaribu as Pertamina's Deputy President Commissioner
JAKARTA — State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) Minister Erick Thohir has appointed Todotua Pasaribu as Deputy President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero) through the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) on Thursday (12 June 2025).
The appointment was stipulated in the SOE Minister's Decree as holder of Pertamina's Series A Dwiwarna shares, Number SK-150/MBU/06/2025 / Number SK.012/DI-DAM/DO/2025, dated 12 June 2025, concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of Members of the Board of Commissioners of PT Pertamina (Persero).
Todotua is a newcomer to the state-owned oil and gas company. Nevertheless, he is known as an entrepreneur with extensive experience in the energy sector. He previously served as Deputy Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Deputy Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) from 2024 to 2025.
According to an official BKPM statement issued on Friday (13 June 2025), since 2019 Todotua served as CEO of Bomba Group, an investment holding company operating in the plantation, mining, property, energy, contracting and logistics sectors. He was responsible for operations in coal, energy, plantations and logistics, making the group one of the key players in Indonesia's energy and infrastructure sectors.
Before heading Bomba Group, Todotua served as Director of PT Thopas Artha Nauli from 2016, Director of PT Chatura Indonesia in 2012, and previously as Operations Manager at PT Jagad Energy in 2005.
Todotua has been active in politics, serving as Deputy Chairman of the National Campaign Team (TKN) for the Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka ticket in the 2024 Presidential Election. He was subsequently appointed by Prabowo Subianto as Deputy Minister of Investment and Downstreaming, alongside Minister Rosan Roeslani.
Todotua holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Trisakti University (2003).
