TANGERANG: Two soccer players from Sleman, Central Java, who were here for a competition were nabbed for using drugs at Hotel Istana Nelayan on Jl. Gatot Subroto, Tangerang municipality, on Tuesday evening.

Adj. Comr. Zaenudin, chief the police narcotics unit, identified the two soccer players as Deddy Setiady, 26, Dwi Prasetyo, 23, from the Sleman soccer team.

When the police raided their room, they found a bong, a device used to use crystal methaphetamine (shabu-shabu), in Dwi's bag.

They admitted to have taken the drugs, which they obtained from Kukuh Primanto, 23, one of their supporters who also lives in Sleman, while Kukuh said that he got it from his friend Asri Hariadi, 27, a resident of Batu Ceper, Tangerang. Both of them were later arrested in Asri's house.
