SMRA Top Executive Quietly Buys Up Shares, Ownership Surpasses 36 Percent

JAKARTA - A major accumulation action has been carried out by the primary shareholder of PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA), Semarop Agung, which has increased its share ownership to surpass 36 percent.

Based on the disclosure of information from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) on Wednesday (8/4/2026), Semarop Agung raised its SMRA share ownership from the previous 5.91 billion shares or equivalent to 35.83 percent, to 5.94 billion shares or 36 percent.

This addition was conducted through a series of purchase transactions in the regular market from early March to early April 2026, with varying prices in the range of Rp 324 to Rp 369 per share.

Upon tracing, the buying actions were carried out consistently almost every trading day. In early March, purchases were made at relatively high prices of Rp 360–Rp 369. Then, the accumulation continued at lower levels, even at Rp 324 per share in early April.

SMRA shares were recorded to move limitedly and tend to weaken in the second trading session on Thursday (9/4/2026). Until the session was ongoing, SMRA shares fell 1.19 percent to Rp 332 per share.

At the start of trading, SMRA moved at Rp 334 and even touched a high of Rp 336. However, this strengthening did not last long after selling pressure re-emerged, pushing the price down to Rp 332.

Intraday, it showed a sideways pattern with thin volatility in the range of Rp 332–Rp 336.

SMRA is a property issuer that focuses on developing integrated townships, combining large-scale housing with commercial areas and complete supporting facilities.

The company operates its main business in property development, property investment and management, to supporting sectors such as recreation and hospitality.

From the share ownership side, SMRA’s shareholder structure is still dominated by the main controller, namely PT Semarop Agung with ownership of around 5.94 billion shares.

Below it, there are several other significant shareholders, such as Liliawati Rahardjo with a portion of 5.72 percent, Goodridge International Ltd at 3.36 percent, and Sunarni Rahardja at 2.79 percent.

In addition, institutional investors are also listed in the shareholder list, including Great Wall Worldwide Ltd which controls 2.72 percent, the Old Age Guarantee Programme of the DJS Manpower at 2.64 percent, PT Intimax Intraco at 2.44 percent, to global investors such as the Government of Norway with ownership of 1.35 percent.
