SMF Channels Rp 20.88 Trillion in Housing Finance Funding in 2025
SMF, PT Sarana Multigriya Finansial (Persero), has strengthened its role as a liquidity provider in the national housing finance ecosystem during 2025. President Director Ananta Wiyogo said that throughout last year, the company channelled Rp 20.88 trillion to housing finance distributors, up from Rp 17.01 trillion in 2024. ‘That rating reflects SMF’s willingness and ability to meet its financial obligations on time, while also showing strong government support for SMF’s role as a fiscal instrument in the housing financing sector,’ Ananta said at a press conference in Jakarta on Wednesday (4 March 2026).
‘As part of its mandate as the Ministry of Finance’s special mission vehicle, SMF has also continued supporting the Program Kredit Pemilikan Rumah Fasilitas Likuiditas Pembiayaan Perumahan (KPR FLPP) since 2018.’ The company provides a 25 percent share of funding for KPR FLPP through Penyertaan Modal Negara (PMN), which is then optimised through blended financing and the issuance of debt securities. By December 2025, SMF had channelled Rp 34.37 trillion, equivalent to 904,568 housing units.
‘As a fiscal instrument of the Government, SMF ensures that every PMN received is used optimally through a prudent and measured leverage scheme. This is our responsibility in supporting access and affordability of housing finance on a sustainable basis,’ Ananta said.
‘During 2025, SMF also undertook a number of strategic steps, including becoming the first corporation whose debt securities were eligible in Bank Indonesia’s repo transactions.’ In addition, the company launched new financing products such as Griya Nusantara and Griya Tunas targeting micro housing financing.
‘Throughout 2025, SMF, together with financial institutions, channelled financing for Griya Tunas amounting to 52,142 houses, surpassing the government target of 50,000 houses.’
From a financial performance perspective, total assets as of December 2025 stood at Rp 66.814 trillion, up 15 percent year on year. Net profit also rose 5 percent to Rp 565 billion compared with the same period the previous year.
‘In 2026, we will continue accelerating SMF’s strategic role in building a resilient, adaptive, and sustainable housing finance sector,’ Ananta concluded.
