Sister reveals murder victim dumped on BORR toll road was due to get engaged next month
Woman with initials AA was murdered and thrown from the Bogor Outer Ring Road (BORR) elevated toll road onto Jalan Sholeh Iskandar (Sholis) in Bogor City by M Febryan (26), a former high school friend. The victim’s sister, Humaira (35), stated that AA planned to get engaged next month.
“Recent viral posts on Instagram and TikTok claimed the victim was in a relationship and killed by her boyfriend. My sister is educated, she had a boyfriend, and was due to get engaged next month,” Humaira said at Bogor City Police Station on Monday (25 May 2026).
Humaira added that the man described as the victim’s boyfriend had come from Makassar to Bogor after learning of AA’s death. She emphasised that the perpetrator was not her sister’s boyfriend, but merely a friend, stating this was due to social media accounts incorrectly describing their relationship.
“My sister is educated; she had a boyfriend who came from Makassar yesterday. The suspect is not her boyfriend — she was due to get engaged next month,” Humaira said with red eyes from crying.
The body of AA was found dead on Jalan Sholeh Iskandar in Tanah Sareal District, Bogor City, on Saturday (23 May) around 1.15 am. The victim had told friends she was going for coffee on Friday (22 May) around 10 pm.
The victim is believed to have been beaten to death by suspect M Febryan. Police arrested Febryan after he fled with the victim’s car. He overturned on the toll road while fleeing from police.
Police have officially named suspect M Febryan (MF), also known as Ambon (26), in connection with the murder of the woman whose body was found on Jalan Sholeh Iskandar (Sholis) in Bogor City. He faces charges of premeditated murder.
“He is charged under murder, premeditated murder, and grievous assault provisions. We are layering charges to ensure the suspect, who acted with extreme brutality, is not released. The potential sentence is between 15 and 20 years’ imprisonment,” said Bogor City Police Chief Kombes Rio Wahyu Anggoro on Monday (25 May 2026).
“Due to the heinous nature of the act, the charges include Article 459, Article 458(1), Article 479(3), and/or Article 466(3) of the Indonesian Criminal Code (KUHP) under Law No. 1 of 2023, along with Article 2(1) of the Emergency Law,” he added.
