Sinrimco opens in Manila
MANILA (UPI): A leading German-Indonesian joint venture company engaged in engineering consultancy and trading services has recently set up shop in the Philippines, trade officials said yesterday.
Trade officials said Sinrimco, which has operations in most Asian countries, wanted to explore the country's infrastructure needs and opportunities.
The Manila office would provide engineering consultancy services and sell high technology machines for the production of plywood and veneers, officials said.
Richard Teh, Sinrimco operations manager for Manila, said their presence in the country is part of an overall plan to expand in the Asia Pacific region.
Sinrimco also has a hardware division that provides technology, marketing and sales support for various products for the construction industry.
