Sidoarjo Secures 13th Consecutive Unqualified Audit Opinion, Maintains Public Trust
Sidoarjo Regency has once again secured the unqualified audit opinion (WTP) from the Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK) East Java Provincial Office. This achievement for the 2025 Local Government Financial Report (LKPD) audit marks the 13th consecutive year since 2013.
The 2025 LKPD audit reports were handed over simultaneously to 33 regencies and cities across East Java on Friday, 29 May. BPK East Java Head Yuan Candra Djaisin presented the audit report to Regent Subandi at the BPK’s East Java office.
Regent Subandi expressed gratitude for the achievement, stating that the WTP is not merely a milestone but proof of Sidoarjo Regency’s commitment to maintaining transparent and accountable local financial governance in line with applicable regulations.
“This achievement demonstrates Sidoarjo Regency’s ability to present transparent and accountable local financial reports in compliance with regulations,” Subandi said on Saturday, 30 May 2026.
He emphasised that local financial reports are not merely administrative obligations but vital instruments for assessing and evaluating the regional government’s performance, particularly in delivering development programmes and public services.
Subandi expressed hope that the WTP would be maintained in future years as a demonstration of Sidoarjo Regency’s commitment to responsibly managing the regional budget (APBD).
He added that the 13th consecutive WTP is the result of collective efforts by all civil servants (ASN) within the regency. Inter-departmental collaboration will be strengthened to maintain the quality of local financial management.
“We will continue to enhance coordination and encourage all regional agencies to maintain this WTP achievement in coming years,” he concluded.
The 2025 Sidoarjo LKPD audit report was also presented to the Sidoarjo Regency Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD) Chair Abdilah Nasih. Present at the event were Regent Subandi, accompanied by Regency Secretary Fenny Apridawati and the Head of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD), Chusnul Inayah.
