SGRO Bought Up for Rp4.7 Trillion: Indonesia's Top 10 Largest Foreign Net Buy Stocks
Jakarta — Foreign investors recorded net purchasing activity (net foreign buy) on the Indonesian stock exchange during the period 2-6 March 2026. Based on trading data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), total foreign net purchases reached approximately Rp2.23 trillion.
However, it should be noted that the majority of foreign net purchases occurred in the negotiated market.
PT Prime Agri Resources (SGRO) became the main target for foreign investors, with accumulated value reaching approximately Rp4.73 trillion throughout that week. This value represents transactions that occurred in the negotiated market, in line with the controlling shareholder of SGRO increasing ownership to 98.7 per cent from 65.72 per cent. This follows the mandatory tender offer requirements after AGPA Pte. Ltd acquired SGRO from Putera Sampoerna.
In the next position, PT Bukit Asam (PTBA) recorded foreign net purchases of approximately Rp308.5 billion, followed by Indo Tambangraya Megah (ITMG) at Rp263.5 billion.
Foreigners also accumulated shares of PT Nusantara Sejahtera Raya Tbk (NSSS) of approximately Rp211.2 billion.

Meanwhile, the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) closed last week with a decline of 7.89 per cent to the level of 7,585.69. Market capitalisation also fell 7.85 per cent to Rp13.627 trillion.
The correction in the IHSG, which was fairly substantial, was also accompanied by falling transaction values. The average daily transaction value throughout last week fell 16.64 per cent to Rp24.97 trillion.
A total of 696 listed companies declined by more than 2 per cent and 59 companies experienced price corrections below 2 per cent. Only 83 listed companies remained in the positive zone.
Two Bakrie stocks, Bumi Resources (BUMI) and Energi Mega Persada (ENRG), became the most heavily traded shares with values of Rp6.19 trillion and Rp6 trillion respectively.
