Seskab Teddy: Jokowi and JK Attend Prabowo's Invitation, Megawati Yet to Confirm

President Prabowo Subianto invited former presidents and vice presidents to the Istana Merdeka, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday, 3 March 2026. The figures began arriving from 7:00 pm WIB. In addition to former presidents and vice presidents, Prabowo also invited the chairmen of political parties represented in Parliament. ‘The President invited directly all former presidents, all former vice presidents, then the former foreign ministers including also the chairmen of political parties in Parliament, and Alhamdulillah almost all of them are present,’ said Seskab Teddy Indra Wijaya to reporters at the Presidential Palace Complex, Central Jakarta. Seskab Teddy explained that Prabowo will discuss and exchange views on various matters with the former presidents, former vice presidents, and the chairmen of political parties. ‘Obviously this evening will involve discussions, a social visit, and mutual exchange of views; the president wants to hear the views of these figures,’ he said. Teddy noted that several figures had already attended, including the 7th President of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi), the 6th President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), the 10th and 12th Vice Presidents Jusuf Kalla, and the 11th Vice President Boediono. Meanwhile, the 5th President Megawati Soekarnoputri had not yet been confirmed to attend the meeting.
