The National Police’s Professional Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) has officially imposed the sanction of dishonourable discharge (PTDH) on AKBP Didik Putra Kuncoro, the former chief of Bima City Police.

National Police Public Relations Bureau chief Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko said the sanction was handed down after the disciplinary panel found Didik guilty of soliciting and accepting money from drug traffickers operating in the Bima City area.

“Through the head of the Bima City Police narcotics unit, identified as AKP M, the funds originated from drug trafficking suspects in the Bima City area,” he said at a press conference on Thursday (19 February).

Trunoyudo added that the KKEP proceedings also established that Didik had committed acts of sexual misconduct.

“He engaged in narcotics abuse and committed acts of sexual misconduct,” he said.

Trunoyudo did not elaborate on the nature of the sexual misconduct but confirmed it was unrelated to Aipda Dianita Agustina, the officer at whose residence a suitcase containing narcotics was found.

“From the examination process, the Commission’s hearing uncovered one act of misconduct, but it is not connected to Aipda Dianita Agustina,” he said.

“It was one of the offences that came to light during the investigation, and as a result he was designated a suspected violator on grounds including sexual misconduct,” he added.

Based on these findings, Trunoyudo said the KKEP disciplinary panel imposed an ethical sanction declaring the officer’s conduct as disgraceful behaviour.

The administrative sanctions included placement in a special detention facility for seven days commencing 13 August through to February 2026.

“Under the administrative sanctions, he is to be dishonourably discharged as a member of the National Police,” he said.

Trunoyudo further stated that Didik had accepted the ruling and would not file an appeal against the ethics board’s decision.

Previously, the former Bima City police chief had been named a suspect in narcotics abuse in connection with a white suitcase containing drugs found at Aipda Dianita’s residence in Tangerang, Banten.

The narcotics evidence seized comprised 16.3 grammes of methamphetamine, 49 ecstasy tablets and two partially consumed tablets (23.5 grammes), 19 Alprazolam tablets, two Happy Five tablets, and five grammes of ketamine.

Didik also tested positive for drug consumption based on hair follicle drug test results conducted at a laboratory.
