Semper murder puzzles police

JAKARTA (JP): The North Jakarta police are still puzzled by
the death of a man whose body was found near a billiards center
in Semper on Tuesday.

Until yesterday the police had yet to determine the motive for
the murder of Sugeng Haryanto, though he was reportedly involved
in a fight with local hoodlums the previous day.

The unemployed man, a resident of Kebonbawang and a regular at
the billiards center, was found dead with stab wounds in the
chest and head.

The victim's wife, Ipah, said that her husband had gone to see
a friend at around 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. (05)
