Semarang-Batang toll road fares have been officially adjusted effective Saturday, 7 March 2026, following Ministry of Public Works Decision Number 18 KPTS/M/2026, established on 7 January 2026.

According to information from PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang via its official Instagram account, @official.jsb_, the toll rate adjustment on the Semarang-Batang toll road was implemented based on government decisions regarding the classification of motorised vehicle types and rate adjustments on the Semarang-Batang toll stretch.

β€œIn the interest of providing transparent information to road users, we hereby announce that based on Ministry of Public Works Decision Number 18 KPTS/M/2026 dated 7 January 2026 concerning the Classification of Motorised Vehicle Types and Toll Rate Adjustment on the Semarang-Batang Toll Road Section, rate adjustments will be implemented on the Semarang-Batang toll stretch,” the announcement stated.

Semarang-Batang toll fares have increased across all vehicle classes. For Class I vehicles on the Batang/Pasekaran to Kalikangkung/Semarang route, fares have increased to Rp 144,500 from the previous Rp 111,500.

Meanwhile, Class II and III vehicle fares on the same route have also been adjusted. Fares previously set at Rp 167,500 are now Rp 216,500, representing an increase of Rp 49,000 or approximately 29.3 per cent.

For Class IV and V vehicles, fares have increased from Rp 223,000 to Rp 289,000. This constitutes an increase of Rp 66,000 or approximately 29.6 per cent.

PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang explained that the 2026 fare adjustment is classified as a non-regular adjustment. Rate setting was undertaken based on investment feasibility study results and business plan evaluations, thus not following the standard rate adjustment mechanism, which typically follows annual inflation.

Additionally, the toll road operator affirmed its commitment to continuously improving service quality for road users through periodic road maintenance, enhanced construction quality, and compliance with Minimum Service Standards (SPM).

Information regarding the fare adjustment was also communicated by the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) under the Ministry of Public Works via its official Instagram account.

Road users were also advised to ensure adequate fuel supplies and sufficient electronic payment balance before travelling. Traffic condition information on Jasa Marga Group toll roads can be accessed through the 24-hour One Call Centre at 14080 or via the Travoy application available on iOS and Android devices.
