Security guard at airport
Security guard at airport
From Kompas
I am an employee at the Soekarno-Hatta airport. I always enter and exit the place through the airport's west gate, called Post M-1.
On May 22, 1996 at about 7 a.m. I saw at the post a security guard viciously kicking the front wheel of an employee's motorcycle, because the rider failed to stop his motorbike when flagged down. The employee was apparently bewildered at this treatment. As he tried to protest against the rough action, another security person came to join his colleague and immediately grabbed the employee by the neck, confiscating his identity card, and kept shoving the victim roughly.
I realize that discipline must be upheld, especially at the airport. But the way these security persons handled the incident was a bit too much.
