Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Bank Seabank Indonesia (SeaBank) recorded a 79 per cent year-on-year growth in net profit to Rp678.4 billion throughout 2025, up from Rp378.8 billion the previous year.

SeaBank Indonesia’s President Director, Sasmaya Tuhuleley, stated in a press release received in Jakarta on Saturday that the positive performance throughout 2025 reflects the effectiveness of the company’s business strategy.

Looking ahead, Sasmaya said SeaBank Indonesia will continue to maintain this momentum by focusing on relevant digital service innovations oriented towards customer needs.

Furthermore, the company noted that this achievement continues the profitability trend in recent years. Previously, in 2023, profit was recorded at Rp241.4 billion and in 2022 at Rp269.2 billion.

In terms of fund mobilisation, SeaBank recorded third-party funds (DPK) of Rp34.8 trillion as of the end of 2025.

The company also recorded significant growth in the number of customers. As of December 2025, SeaBank has more than 28 million customers.

Meanwhile, the average daily transactions numbered more than 12 million with an average turnover exceeding Rp5 trillion per day in December 2025.

Sasmaya said the continuously growing number of customers motivates SeaBank to deliver the best products and services for customers.

“We see this growth as reflecting the increasing trust of the public in SeaBank’s digital banking services as an everyday financial solution,” he said.

He added that the company will continue to maintain this trust through service innovations and improvements in customer experience quality.

“To further facilitate and expand customers’ financial activities, SeaBank plans to launch a debit card facility this year,” Sasmaya stated.

On the other hand, total credit reached Rp32.1 trillion with a controlled non-performing loan (NPL) ratio of 1.82 per cent.

As of the end of 2025, SeaBank’s total assets reached Rp44.4 trillion, or a 28.5 per cent annual growth (year-on-year).

In terms of capitalisation, the capital adequacy ratio (CAR) stood at 23.3 per cent. This figure, according to the company, indicates adequate capital capacity to support future growth.

Meanwhile, return on assets (ROA) and return on equity (ROE) were 2.3 per cent and 11.5 per cent, respectively. According to the company, this achievement reflects a profitable and sustainable business model.
