Scoot Wins Best Partner Award at Changi Airlines Awards 2026
Scoot airline has won the Best Partner award at the Changi Airline Awards 2026. According to the official website of Changi Airport Group (CAG), this award recognises the airline’s contributions to strengthening Changi connectivity and driving travel demand. “The recognition as ‘Airline Partner of the Year’ reflects our strong, ongoing partnership with CAG and reinforces our commitment to elevating Changi Airport’s status as a leading global aviation hub,” said Scoot Chief Executive Officer Leslie Thng, quoted from the official Changi Airport Group website on Monday (4/5/2026). Throughout 2025, Scoot expanded its flight services to 13 new destinations across Southeast Asia, North Asia, and Europe, 10 of which are new at Changi Airport. This has significantly strengthened Changi’s connectivity, expanding its network to more secondary cities across Southeast Asia. “As the aviation industry navigates an increasingly complex landscape, we will leverage the collective strengths of our ecosystem and collaborate with our partners to deliver quality services and more seamless journeys for our customers,” Thng added. Furthermore, in addition to expanding connectivity, Scoot has collaborated with CAG to boost travel demand through joint marketing activations on various digital platforms and roadshows in local markets. On the same occasion, CAG CEO Yam Kum Weng stated that in an increasingly uncertain and evolving aviation landscape, trust and reliability remain fundamental to Changi as a global aviation hub. “For airlines and passengers, delivering a consistently high-quality experience on every journey remains a top priority,” said Yam. Therefore, to uphold this commitment, they will initiate a series of major enhancements to unlock capacity, support airline growth, and strengthen Changi Airport’s resilience. He added that to increase handling capacity and support growth at Changi Airport, CAG will undertake a series of large-scale infrastructure improvements. CAG will also invest in airside infrastructure to support the new B777-9 aircraft, with more than 50 aircraft parking stands that can accommodate this type of aircraft in this quarter. “These investments strengthen the solid foundation we have built together through hard work, ensuring that Changi remains your preferred strategic partner,” said Yam.
