The Satuan Tugas Percepatan Rehabilitasi dan Rekonstruksi (Satgas PRR) Post-Disaster Sumatra continues to distribute housing repair assistance to disaster survivors, including those whose homes were damaged by hydrometeorological disasters in Aceh Province, North Sumatra (Sumut), and West Sumatra (Sumbar).

Head of Satgas PRR Post-Disaster Sumatra, Muhammad Tito Karnavian, stated that housing repair assistance is provided directly to homeowners as stimulus funds to enable communities to repair their homes independently. The amount of assistance provided is Rp 15 million for lightly damaged houses and Rp 30 million for moderately damaged houses.

In addition, to help survivors reorganise their lives, the government also provides assistance in the form of housing restocking money worth Rp 3 million and economic stimulus worth Rp 5 million. Other assistance in the form of living guarantees (jadup) is also continuously disbursed by the government to ensure the daily basic needs of disaster survivors, worth Rp 450,000 per person per month.

“If (the house damage) is light, it is assisted with Rp 15 million, plus other things from (Kemensos) which total almost Rp 8 million more. For moderately damaged houses, it is assisted with Rp 30 million by BNPB and then also assisted by Kemensos with more than Rp 8 million,” said Tito in his statement on Friday (17/4/2026).

He said this after the Coordination Meeting on Permanent Housing Data Collection at the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) Office, Jakarta, on Wednesday (15/4).
