Sanggraha builds warehouses

JAKARTA (JP): PT Sanggraha Daksamitra, a subsidiary of Japan's Nisso Iwai Corporation, started on Wednesday construction of its warehouse complex on the Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta Airport site.

Ishak Chandra, the marketing manager of the company, said the warehouse, part of its integrated business district to be built at the airport complex, would be completed in early 2000.

Ishak said a total of 21 companies had registered to become tenants of the warehouse.

The commercial park, named Taman Niaga Soewarna, also offers ready-to-build 3,000-square meters of land for office buildings for a 10 to 20 year leasing period.

He said a further 16 investors had also registered to become tenants of its office building.

The park will offer integrated warehouses, office buildings, factory outlets, an export commodity center, retail opportunities, an 18-hole golf course, a restaurant and the five- star Sheraton Bandara Hotel, he said. (udi)
