Saan Mustopa Continues Ramadan Safari Visit to HATI Islamic Boarding School in Probolinggo
The NasDem Party’s Central Board Ramadan safari continued on its eighth day in Probolinggo Regency. After completing consolidation efforts in Electoral District (Dapil) 2 East Java in Pasuruan and Probolinggo, Saan Mustopa, Deputy Chairman of the NasDem Party’s Central Board, continued his agenda by paying a courtesy visit to the HATI Islamic Boarding School.
The visit was attended by Members of Parliament Charles Meikyansah and Dini Rahmania, officials from the NasDem Party’s East Java Provincial Board, members of the Probolinggo Regency Regional Representative Council, and administrators of the NasDem Party’s District Board in Probolinggo Regency.
During the event, Saan Mustopa reminded attendees that the world of politics and the world of Islamic boarding schools share fundamentally similar objectives.
“Pesantren speak of virtue, welfare, and benefit. Politics too should move within the same values,” Saan stated in a written statement on Sunday, 1 March 2026.
He emphasised that the spirit behind the establishment of the NasDem Party is good intention, as frequently conveyed by Party Chairman Surya Paloh. In his view, intention forms an important foundation to ensure that political work remains within the corridor of service.
Beyond the courtesy visit, the event also included dialogue sessions and listening to aspirations from attendees. During the forum, various figures and participants shared their views and hopes regarding the party’s role in regional development and strengthening shared values within society.
Saan considered such dialogue forums important for maintaining closeness between the party structure and the community. In his assessment, the aspirations expressed form part of the collective energy to strengthen future steps.
Concluding the series of activities in Probolinggo, Saan expressed his hope that synergy between the Islamic boarding school, the community, and the party could continue to be nurtured in a spirit of togetherness. He believed that political strength growing from values, prayers, and open communication would have a more solid foundation in facing future dynamics.
“Through the courtesy visit and dialogue, the eighth day of the Ramadan safari marks the strengthening of social networks alongside the nurturing of values in the eastern North Coast region of East Java,” he concluded.
