RI to host textile fair

JAKARTA (JP): Two international exhibitions featuring textile
machinery and products will take place simultaneously at the
Jakarta Fairground in Kemayoran here from May 2 to May 6.

A deputy chairperson of the Jakarta chapter of the Indonesian
Textile Association (API), Yetty R. Pattiasina, said yesterday
that the association is cooperating with PT Peraga Nusantara Jaya
Sakti to organize the exhibitions.

She said the Fourth International Textile and Garment
Machinery Exhibition (ITGME '96) will take place in halls A and
B1 of the fairground, while the International Textile, Apparel
Fabrics, Home Textile and Accessories Trade Fair (Indo Textile
'96) will be held in hall B2.

She said 200 companies from the United States, Australia,
Austria, Britain, the Czech Republic, China, Denmark, France,
Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Poland,
Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan and Thailand will
participate in the ITGME '96, while 75 firms from Southeast Asia,
the Pacific region, Europe and the Middle-East will take part in
the Indo Textile '96. (kod)
