RI gets ADB loans
MANILA (AFP): The Asian Development Bank (ADB) said yesterday
it had approved an US$80 million loan to upgrade urban
infrastructure in 13 cities and towns in Indonesia.
Among the communities to be benefitted by the project are
Bogor, Tangrerang and Bekasi, the Manila-based ADB said in a
statement. It did not identify the other areas affected.
The loan would go to upgrading water supply, roads, drainage,
solid waste, sanitation services, market infrastructure and bus
terminals as well as improving the capabilities of local
governments and utilities.
