RI builds Palestine ports
JAKARTA (JP): The Indonesian government will take part in the construction of a number of seaports in Palestine, an official of the Palestine embassy here said.
"The agreement for the construction of the ports was signed some time ago by the presidents of both countries and the projects will soon be commenced," Ibrahim Hamad, the second secretary of the Palestine embassy told the Antara news agency during his trip in Ambon last week.
Ibrahim said that the construction of the ports, which will also involve the French government, is expected to stimulate business activities with neighboring countries.(hen)
