Residential ID card in Depok

Residential ID card in Depok

From Republika

In conjunction with the anniversary of Depok in May 2002, the Depok city administration launched a program to speed up the process of issuing residential ID cards and family certificates.

A number of residents and I, all from Griya Pasaraya Indah, Rawa Depok, Rangkapanjaya Baru, Pancoran Mas, Depok city, took part in the program, which was coordinated by Asep Kamaludin, one of our neighbors and also an employee of PT Griya Gemilang Indah, the developer of Griya Pasaraya Indah.

Asep told us to prepare photocopies of our old documents plus 2x3 cm photographs. He also said that the fee per family would be Rp 75,000.

Unfortunately, I did not get my new residential ID card until about 10 days ago (with some corrections owing to misprints). As for the family certificate, it is still being processed. Asep has just given us empty promises, and some of us need these certificates for various important matters.

Therefore, I, on behalf of the residents of Griya Pasaraya Indah, particularly neighborhood 014/01, would like to ask the authorities and responsible parties the following questions:

a. What are the requirements for a new residential ID card and a family card?

b. What is the official fee for a new residential ID card and a family card?

c. How long will it take to get a new residential ID card and a family card?
